It may have been a week later than planned, due to the rain the previous weekend, and through this some of those who had hoped to attend, or hold stalls, were now unable to… but nevertheless, the sun shone on the Big Do on Saturday afternoon, 27th July 2024 – and there were plenty of people – and, yes, plenty of dogs!
Many thanks to those who made the day such a success – not just the organisers, but those wonderful people and organisations that offered raffle prizes, ran stalls, put up the tents… you know who you are! A big thanks from all of us to all of them!

- Best Pedigree

- Best child handler
- Handsomest dog
- Best brace (matching or opposite
- Best Veteran
- Best rescue
All first place winners to compete in Best in Show/Reserve Best in Show/Best Puppy

This year’s ‘Big Do in the Field‘ will be held on NEW DATE Saturday 27 July 2024 on the field opposite the Jubilee Hall in Mount. The Flower, Produce and Craft Show was held, as scheduled, on Saturday 20 July 2024 in the hall itself – see show photos, and schedule of classes.
As ever, our Big Do this year will host the ever popular dog show, barbecue, tea tent, beer tent, plenty of stalls and games for young and old, and raffle (some amazing prizes).
Free entry, free parking – make a date, come along and have a lovely afternoon with us. All funds raised will go towards our village hall in Mount – thank you!

THE BIG DO IN THE FIELD IS ON SATURDAY 27 JULY
Craft tent, Tombola, Bottle Stall, Coconut Shy, Lucky Dip Soft Darts, Punch & Judy, Smite, Children’s games, etc.
Also: Tea Tent and Cake Stall, Beer & Pimms Tent, and the scouts are providing a BBQ
Plus the ever popular Dog Show – see classes below:
Who knows, we might also get a Tug of War going?
Raffle prizes (raffle tickets will be on sale soon, and hopefully there’ll still be some available for sale on the day)
