Next week in Warleggan

We’ve got a lot on this coming week at the Warleggan Jubilee Hall in Mount:

Survey deadline ~ Friday

Firstly, the ‘What do you want?’ surveyA big thanks to all of you who have already filled it in; it’s really appreciated. If you haven’t yet done so, the good news is that the deadline is extended by a week.  It’ll only take a minute or two to fill, and will help us know which activities and clubs there may be a good amount of interest in. So do please have your say, even if it’s simply to say you aren’t interested!

The survey is open to everyone living in or near the parish, as well as all hall users and visitors from neighbouring parishes.  See here for more information, and to download the form.

The deadline is now Friday 28 March: so, if you didn’t yet get round to handing in your completed survey form, do it now and hand it to a hall committee member, or you can drop it off in the box in the hall when you come to any of the following upcoming events over the coming seven days

Coming up next week:

  • Tuesday 25 March:
    • Pilates –  starts at 12 noon, newcomers welcome – phone Gill 01208 821494 if you’re thinking of coming – more info
  • January 2014: relaxing after lunch
    Lunch Club ~ Wednesday

    Wednesday 26 March:

    • Lunch Club, 12.30pm – a special treat this time, fish pie followed by tiramisu – still just £4 a head, for the two courses with tea/coffee to follow; a vegetarian option (cheese and courgettes) is also available. All are welcome, young or old, but you MUST reserve your place in advance, latest by Sunday 23rd – call Gill 01208 821494 to book, or for more info.  Note the change of date –  yes, it’s on Wednesday this time  – see our lunch club page
    • History Club, 7.30pm – AGM, followed by a talk from Lynda – entitled, intriguingly, “Stop the Rot”.  All welcome.
  • Lessons in Love ~ Friday 28 March

    Friday 28 March:

    • Village Greens, 9am – 2pm –  as always, a great chance to meet up over a cup of something, or there’s cooked breakfasts and soups, and of course lots of local and organic produce to take home – more info
    • “Lessons in Love”, 7.30pm – this promises to be a fun, entertaining evening out, as two characters, Carmen and Mimi,  look to evening classes to find love – an engaging comedy brought to us by the Cube Essential Theatre of Truro, it’s a Carn to Cove production, and well worth attending –  for tickets and information, call Liz L. on 01208 821551  – see our Carn to Cove Events page.
